MY STORY

At 17, I moved to the U.S. with more than just a suitcase—I carried an African accent and the weight of being misunderstood. My journey was filled with challenges, self-doubt, and plenty of learning moments. For years, I stayed quiet, afraid of being misunderstood.

Over time, I found my voice, owned my story, and built a career at companies like Google, William Blair, Goldman Sachs, and KPMG. Those experiences taught me how powerful it is to show up fully—embracing both the struggles and breakthroughs along the way.

I’ve learned that everyone’s path is unique, and there’s no one right way to succeed. What matters most is having the confidence to step into and own your story.

Through Unmuted Moments, I share real conversations with professionals and changemakers about their journeys—the lessons they’ve learned, the obstacles they’ve faced, and the breakthroughs that helped them thrive.
